The Sonoma themes have been completely remastered in the evolution from 2014's NXT release to the new X Edition, integrating years of advances on the underlying grid and design architecture, all-new classes of slide and layout archetypes, plus additional updates to color, type, and extensibility that bring Sonoma leaping forward for Keynote 10+.

The X Edition adds nearly twenty new core layout types, expanded to include a range of contemporary, conversational slide archetypes like Big Fact and Definition, plus Agendas, Comparison Matrices and more. A new library of extras join the mix, with new modular Element Template files making it easy to add Device Mockup screens, Timelines, and more with copy & paste ease. And the entire framework has been updated and re-organized to take advantage of everything the new Keynote 10+ architecture has to offer, including expanded & improved style definitions that make it easier than ever to tailor your Sonoma decks to your individual taste.

The Slides

The Sonoma X themes includes 54 core master slides — a mix of traditional, editorial & image-driven layouts in the signature Sonoma style. Along with the basic content layouts present in any Keynote 10+ theme, Sonoma X also includes an expanded selection of general-purpose, conversation-oriented masters, including Percentage Compare & Contrast, Comparison Matrices, Quotation, True or False, Definition, and Bio and Agenda slides, along with multiple styles of image layout styles offering you tremendous flexibility from the start. Supplemental Materials are integrated directly into the theme, making it a snap to reference color chips and formatting tips at any time during the authoring process, whether you're on desktop or mobile. Sonoma X HD, available in the Pro Edition, expands the style into HD format with aspect-optimized widescreen versions of the Sonoma themes, so you can take advantage of the clean simplicity of an iMac, a Mac-driven Cinema Display, or an HD Monitor or Projector as target presentation platforms without the "dead space" associated with running traditional 4:3 presentations on an HD display.  Whether attached to an HD display or projecting to an HD-equipped room, your presentation will take full advantage of every inch, custom-tailored to intelligently adapt the Sonoma aesthetic to the larger footprint of HD.
